Rough-In Plumbing

Serving Brantford, Niagara, Hamilton, Thorold, Welland and Woodstock. Supply and drain lines run to plan during a build, addition or renovation, before the walls close up and mistakes get expensive.

Sized and placed before the walls close

Rough-in is the stage where every fixture location, every drain slope, and every supply line gets decided in the framing, before drywall, before the slab, before anything is closed up and hard to change. Get it wrong here and it's a wall or a floor opened back up later. We work directly from the build plan, size the lines to code, and place everything so it's actually inspection-ready when the building inspector shows up, not something that needs correcting after the fact.

New builds, additions, and commercial jobs

This covers everything from a full new-construction underground drain layout with proper slab prep, to a garage or room addition's supply and drain rough-in framed into new OSB and Tyvek-wrapped walls, to commercial jobs where the drain and waterproofing layout has to work with the building's structural plan, not around it.

Common questions

Do you work directly with our builder or GC?

Yes, rough-in plumbing has to coordinate with the framing and structural schedule, so we work from the same plan and timeline as the rest of the build, not on our own separate schedule.

Can you handle both the drain rough-in and the waterproofing on a new addition?

Yes, on jobs where both are part of the scope: the drain layout and the waterproofing membrane need to work together at the slab, not be handled as two disconnected trades.
