Sewer Line Repair & Camera Inspection

Serving Brantford, Niagara, Hamilton, Thorold, Welland and Woodstock. A recorded CCTV survey of the line, and the repair to match what it actually shows, not a guess.

What a sewer camera inspection actually shows

A waterproof camera on a push-cable runs the length of the line and records what's actually happening inside the pipe: a cracked or offset joint, a bellied section where the pipe has sagged and holds standing water, root intrusion working through a joint, or a section that's simply collapsed. You see the same footage we do. It's the difference between "the drain is backing up" and knowing exactly which few feet of pipe are the actual problem.

When a repair means opening the line, not just clearing it

Clearing a blockage is a temporary fix if the pipe itself is damaged: the same clog comes back in a few months because the actual cause, a cracked or bellied section, is still there. Where the camera shows structural damage, the repair is a section replacement: breaking in to the damaged run, routing new ABS or PVC pipe correctly sloped to the existing stack, and restoring the floor, ceiling, or wall it came out of. We show you the footage before recommending which one you actually need.

Common questions

Do I need a camera inspection if the drain is running fine now?

Not usually: a camera inspection is most useful after a blockage keeps recurring, before buying a home with an older sewer line, or when a clearing didn't fully resolve slow drainage.

Does a cracked sewer line always mean digging up the yard?

It depends on where the damage is and how the line is routed. Some repairs are accessible through a basement ceiling or wall rather than an excavation. The camera footage is what tells us which approach the specific damage actually calls for.
